BioThe DO 7 Band, also called DO 7 Shirati Jazz, was a musical group founded by DO Misiani and was a highly influential musical group in Kenya during the early 1970s. Because of their success, they earned the reputation of being the country's most accomplished band. The DO 7 Band initially began as Luo Sweet Voice and later evolved into Shirati Luo Voice Jazz around 1972. By 1975, they adopted the name D.O. 7 Shirati Jazz, with various iterations of the name.
The number 7 represents the number of musicians in the group. Their title, Mr. Ogada, had great success in Colombia.
