BioAfrican Keneries Beats International, led by the legendary Dr. Orlando Owoh, was a Nigerian Juju music band. The group got its name from the Canary, the African singing bird, and was formed after the artist left his former Omimah band. It bore several names while it existed, including the Young Kenneries Band, African Kenneries International, and African Kenneries Beats International. Their music was a fusion of traditional Yoruba rhythms and modern influences, creating a sound that resonated with audiences. African Keneries Beats International released several albums, including the popular "Kennery De Ijo Ya." Their songs addressed social issues, love, and celebrated Nigerian culture. The band's live performances were electrifying, propelled by Owoh's velvety voice and exceptional guitar skills. Despite disbanding after Owoh's passing in 2008, African Keneries Beats International's legacy lives on, influencing future generations of musicians and leaving an indelible mark on the Nigerian music industry.
