BioBarenaked Ladies is a rock band from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, established in 1988 by Ed Robertson and Steven Page. The band's rise began with the independently released "The Yellow Tape," followed by their debut studio album, "Gordon," which secured widespread recognition across Canada. Their international profile grew through the live album "Rock Spectacle," while "Stunt" (1998) became their defining commercial success, driven by the global hit "One Week" and singles including "It's All Been Done" and "Call and Answer." Subsequent releases such as "Maroon," "Everything to Everyone," "Grinning Streak," "Silverball," "Fake Nudes," "Detour de Force," and "In Flight" have sustained their extensive catalog.
