BioBright Blue was a South African progressive rock band active in the latter years of apartheid. Craig Newman, lead vocalist and guitarist; bassist and backup vocalist Dave Poole; drummer and backing vocalist Warren Van Wyk; and pianist and backing vocalist Neil Andrews make up the band. The band's name "reflected the paradox of being bright in a very blue time" while also paying homage to Chelsea FC.
