BioCrashCarBurn is a South African rock band formed in London in 2006 but returned to South Africa in 2007. The current band line-up include Garth Barnes, Brendan "Bugsy" Barnes, Jaco Brittz, and Etienne Janse Van Rensburg.
Their debut album, 'This City Needs a Hero', was recorded with Grammy-nominated team Colin Richardson and Matt Hyde and included three singles: 'Serenade', 'Get Away' and 'Heroes'.
In 2008, they became the first African band to play the Van's Warped Tour, performing in 21 cities across the US and Canada to crowds in excess of 14,000 per show.
They have completed two international and 10 national tours and collaborated with top South Africa's top artists.
The band has won several awards, including the MK MVP Competition and been nominated for multiple others.
CrashCarBurn has released three full-length studio albums, and 15 of their polished music videos have received extensive play on various platforms, including Mnet, MK, and MTV Africa.
