BioCutting Jade is a South African band that was formed in 1998 with current line-up of Shaun Collins, Raoul Dippenaar, and Andrew Duggan.
They gained popularity quickly with its first EP, which went to number 1 on Tuks FM.
They continued to grow in popularity on radio and on stage, and in 2000 released their first studio album, "So There We Were" with hits “She Says”, “Fade Away” & “Swazi Malawi.”
In 2001, they signed with the David Gresham Record Company and released their second album, "Between Two Lives". The single "Ten Seconds" from that album became a huge hit and was played everywhere.
They have since released 12 albums, and after a ten-year break, they have released a new single 'Sweater'.
Cutting Jade has been a fixture in the South African music scene for over two decades and continues to be one of the country's most beloved and respected bands.
