BioFoghat is an English rock band formed in London in 1971 that helped popularize blues-based boogie rock through powerful live performances and an enduring recording career. Founded by Roger Earl, "Lonesome" Dave Peverett, Tony Stevens, and Rod Price after leaving Savoy Brown, the group established its identity with albums including "Foghat," "Energized," "Rock and Roll Outlaws," "Fool for the City," "Night Shift," "Stone Blue," and the multi-platinum "Foghat Live." Their signature single, "Slow Ride," became an international classic and remains one of rock radio's most recognizable recordings.
Although personnel changed over the decades, founding drummer Roger Earl has guided the band's continued evolution through releases such as "Last Train Home," "Under the Influence," and "Sonic Mojo," which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Blues Albums chart. With multiple Gold, Platinum, and Double Platinum certifications, Foghat continues touring while preserving its distinctive place in classic rock history.
