BioFour Jacks and a Jill is a folk rock band from South Africa. Clive Harding (bass guitar), Keith Andrews (rhythm guitar and organ), Bruce Bark (lead guitar, harmonica, and saxophone), and Tony Hughes (drums) were the initial members. They formed in 1964 as The Nevadas but changed their name to The Zombies in 1966. In 1967, they added lead vocalist Glenys Lynne, and their name was changed to Four Jacks and a Jill.
The song "Timothy" was the band's first hit in South Africa in 1967. They released "Master Jack" in 1968, which peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
