BioFormed in the 1970s, Heads Funk is a Nigerian band that gained acclaim both locally and internationally for their distinctive fusion of funk, soul, and Afrobeat. Led by Felix Odey (Feladey) on guitar and Eddie Offeyi on drums, the band shares members with Akwassa, another outstanding '70s group. Coexisting and originating from the same musical roots, Akwassa released two albums, while Heads Funk Band produced three LPs, namely "Cold Fire," "Give Us Life," and the elusive "Hard World." The bands, marked by shared musicians, exhibited musical similarities, which is evident in their remarkable talent and creativity.
