BioISO is a South African rock band from Pretoria, formed in 2006 under the name Isochronous. The band consists of members Richard Brokensha on vocals and guitar, Alex Parker on keyboards and vocal, Nicholas McCreadie on drums and vocals, and Franco Schoeman on bass guitar. ISO's music is characterized by soaring vocals, intricate guitar work, and driving rhythms, drawing influences from a range of genres such as rock, alternative, and pop. They gained popularity with their debut album "Inscape" in 2008, which earned them nominations for several South African music awards. Since then, they have released four more albums, including the critically acclaimed "Piece by Piece" in 2018. ISO has performed at various festivals and venues in South Africa and abroad, and continues to be one of the country's most respected rock bands.
