Bio
Kakaiku's Band, also known as Kakaiku's Guitar Band, was a popular Ghanaian band in the 1970s, led by Moses Kwaku Oppong (a.k.a Kakaiku). The initial band line-up was Moses Kwaku Oppong (alias Kakaiku), Atakora Manu (Guitarist), and Charles Kofi Amankwaa Mann (alias C.K. Mann). The band split in 1969. It became version two of the initial band and was named Kakaiku's No. 2 Band. The newly formed Kakaiku's No. 2 Band was led by Atakora Manu, joined by Anthony King Yeboah and G. K. Akandoh (alias Rim Akandoh). The three were all former members of Moses' band. The new band's existence was short-lived as the three Kakaiku's No. 2 Band members went their separate ways. Each formed a new band with a slight twist to the band's moniker, but all bore the same name, K.K.'s No.2 Band.
