BioKintueni Yombe, also known as Kintueni Sukisa or Kintueni Kin-Stars, is a folk group hailing from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The group was founded in 1976 by Kitsusu Mabiala to preserve traditional Yombe heritage. The other band members are Raoul Mbumba Ntoto, Zéro-Zéro, and Dirocken Le Prêtre. Kintueni Yombe has produced several hits, including "ABCD," "Tsikidi Kuama," "Solobondo," "Yuda," "Nlampa," and "Male Male." Their music has been influential in modern Congolese music, with artists such as Koffi Olomide and Zaïko Langa Langa using Kintueni's texts to enrich their songs. The group is renowned for its opus "Au Revoir Maman Marie Tsoni Mbumba," which showcases its unique style and traditional knowledge. Kintueni Yombe's dedication to preserving their cultural heritage through their music has made them an important figure in the Congolese music scene.
