BioL’Orchestre Bella Bella, also known as Frères Soki & l’Orchestre Bella Bella or simply Bella Bella, was a Congolese soukous band that emerged in the early 1970s. It was led by the Soki brothers, Maxim and Emile Soki. The band was one of the pioneers of smoother, softer style in the soukous scene and served as a starting point for several successful musicians, including Nyboma and Pepe Kalle. The band recorded several releases with hits such as Sylvie, Alexandrine, Mwasi ya moto, and Sofele. The band witnessed several changes and defections in its lineup around 1972. Pepe Kalle joined Bella Bella for a few years, and Bella Bella managed to keep their leading position in the soukous scene.
