BioLoktion Boyz are a gqom revolution from Durban, South Africa's vibrant streets. Their pulsating beats, infectious energy, and raw lyricism transformed South Africa's underground scene.
In 2015, Loktion Boyz brothers Mhawu and Sandile Mkhize started making their unique gqom. Their heavy basslines, distorted vocals, and hypnotic rhythms captured Durban's busy streets and young Black South Africans' frustrations. In 2016, their viral gqom hit "Vuka," brought them international fame. Since then, Loktion Boyz has released several successful EPs and singles, including "No Fear," "Gqom in China," and the critically acclaimed "Umshunqo."
