BioThough formed 2006 but with 14 years of performance, the London Lucumi Choir is the first non-audition community choir whose primary focus is singing songs dedicated to Orisha accompanied by beating traditional drums. It was formed by Afro Cuban Singer Extraordinaire Martha Galarraga and Musician Daniela Rosselson De Armas and assisted by Dave Pattman (Omo Aña). There is no age limit for those interested in becoming its members. The choristers are as young as seven years and some as old as 70.
