BioMarcAlex is a South African pop duo comprising twin brothers Marc and Alex Rantseli. Their musical journey began when they were discovered by Benjy Mudie, leading to the release of their self-titled debut album in 1988, which earned them the title of "Best Newcomer" at the OKTV Awards.
In 1990, they followed up with "Boys B Boys" for the local market and, internationally, reworked some original tunes that were released via ATCO Records and PWL Records.
Notably, their singles "Quick Quick" and "Heartbreakin' Love" reached number 1 on the South African music charts and the 5FM and Radio Metro charts, respectively.
Although their popularity waned in the new millennium, MarcAlex remains a memorable part of South Africa's musical heritage.
