BioMbuzi Gang is an all-men Kenyan rap and Gengetone group made of Joefes, iPhoolish, and Fathermoh, under the label Black Market Records. Their journey began in 2018 when they decided to form a group, deriving their name from Joefes' second studio album, "M.B.U.Z.I," which creatively stands for "Money Bitches Under Zero Influence." Initially, each member focused on their solo projects, but in 2020, they joined forces and collaborated on several hit tracks. Their debut single, "Wagithomo," was released in 2020 and garnered attention. Notably, their music video for "Shamra Shamra" won the 2021 Pulse Music Video Award for Viewer's Choice of the Year. In 2022, Mbuzi Gang dropped their debut album titled "Three Wise Goats," showcasing their artistic growth and musical diversity. This group continues to make waves in the Kenyan music scene with their unique blend of rap, Gengetone, and hip-hop.
