BioMurumba Pitch is a prominent South African Amapiano duo celebrated for its defining role in shaping the “three-step” subgenre. The act gained recognition through vocalist Innocent Khathutshelo Mangolo, known as Maeywon or Inno, and producer Emmanuel Mathye. After meeting in college in Venda, they transformed a shared passion into one of the most distinctive sounds in contemporary South African dance music. Though originally formed in 2012, their breakthrough era came around 2018–2019 when Emmanuel guided a transition into Amapiano, elevating their national profile.
Their catalog includes the acclaimed project "Isidalo" and standout tracks such as “Hamba Juba,” “Wena Dali,” and “Uyeke.” Collaborations with leading artists across the Afro-dance scene broadened their influence and solidified their reputation for emotive, vocal-driven production. On March 7, 2025, they announced a mutual split to pursue solo careers. Innocent released "Me To Me" and "Oleander," while Emmanuel continued developing the signature sound they built together.
