BioOgene Udo Boyz, also known as Ogene Peace, is an Ogene indigenous music band from the eastern part of Nigeria.
The all-boys music ensemble usually perform in Igbo language and their style of music is the Igbo Ogene Highlife.
Typically, the group members' roles are unique which include the vocalist, supporting vocals and the instrumentalists. The instrument features in the group's performance are a large hollow double bell made of iron, oja (also known as talking flute), ekwe (slit drum), udu (vessel drum), and ngedegwu (a locally made xylophone).
The band leader was late Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ubaneche (Ichie Obioma, Ogene Udo) who passed away February, 21, 2022.
