BioOrchestre Super Mazembe, initially formed in Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo) in 1967 under the name Super Vox, was a Kenyan Soukous band. In 1974, the group's leader, Mutonkole Konwa Didu, relocated to Nairobi, prompting a name change to Orchestre Mazembe. They became renowned as one of the golden era Kenyan Lingala music acts. Their most significant hit was "Shauri Yako." Unfortunately, in 1985, Orchestre Super Mazembe disbanded.
