Plantashun Boiz was a Nigerian hip-hop and R&B music group consisting of 2face, Faze, and Blackface.
The first two members of the group (2face and Blackface) began performing in secondary school. Then the group went on hiatus. 2face continued while in college but dropped out to face music.
The two friends reconnected, changed monikers, and moved to Lagos. Then Faze joined.
The group released their first album as Plantashun Boiz in 2000.
After an earlier split, they re-united in 2007 for another album project and thereafter, went on to pursue solo careers.
