BioRico Gang, a Gengetone group based in Nairobi, Kenya, is made up of three artists: Harrycraze (Harry Adoyo), Triand Rands (Wilson Raburu), and Graycee (Grace Wanjiru). The group, under the management of Mike Sagana, officially came together on July 17, 2017, united by their shared love for music and a mission to express the everyday struggles and stories of Kenyan youth. The name Rico Gang stands for Realest Illest Coolest Outta-town Gang, a reflection of their bold and vibrant identity.
Their first release, Dance It Up, didn’t gain much attention, but it laid the foundation for what was to come. Their breakthrough track, Fuckboy, resonated strongly with young audiences, touching on social issues in a direct and relatable way. They went on to drop several fan favorites, including 'Serereka,' 'Imenti,' 'Taki Taki Remix' and 'Kimonyoski' (with Kartelo). Rico Gang continues to influence Kenya’s music scene with high-energy and socially aware tracks.
