BioSungura Boys was a Zimbabwean music band that emerged from the Holy Brothers Band in the late 1970s. The band consisted of Chinyani, Chibadura, Sam Chikadzura, and Fox Maluwa. They released their first Sungura song, "Huri Hwese naKatsande," and soon disbanded. Chibadura and Chinyani later joined a group of musicians based in Mtoko and moved to Domboshava during the war. They became the Mverechena Jazz Band, and then Sungura Boys when they backed the Chimbetus. The Sungura Boys backed the Chimbetus on several singles but tensions arose over royalties, and John Chibadura joined as a vocalist before leaving to form the Tembo Brothers. The Sungura Boys were significant in the development of the Sungura genre, and their legacy continued in subsequent bands like the Khiama Boys and Orchestra Mberikwazvo.
