The Brother Moves On (TMOS), a prominent performance art ensemble from South Africa, was established by Nkululeko and Siyabonga Mthembu between 2008 and 2010.

Initially, TBMO operated as a collective of graphic and performance artists before transitioning into a band.

The group's core consists of Siyabonga Mthembu as lead vocalist, Zelizwe Mthembu on lead guitar, Ayanda Zalekile on bass, and Simphiwe Tshabalala on drums.

TBMO's live performances are interdisciplinary, featuring elements of storytelling, theatre, drawing, video installation, and other experimental media.

Additionally, the ensemble frequently collaborates with musicians from various disciplines, including Itai Hakim, Malcolm Jiyane, and Solethu Madasa.

The current lineup also includes Mthunzi Mvubu on alto saxophone and Mohammed Dawjee on tenor saxophone.
