BioTKZee is an award-winning South African music group that emerged in the 1990s, gaining recognition for its genre-blending music. The trio, consisting of Tokollo Tshabalala (Magesh), Kabelo Mabalane, and Zwai Bala, combined kwaito, hip-hop, and dance music into a unique and influential sound. Their hit song "Fiasco" became an anthem in South Africa, reflecting their distinct musical style and addressing social issues relevant to the country's youth. TKZee's music resonated with urban culture, making them a pivotal force in shaping South African music during the '90s. The group's impact on South African culture was substantial, particularly in popularizing kwaito—a genre amalgamating house music, hip-hop, and traditional South African rhythms. They have won many awards, including the South African Music Award for Best Kwaito Album in 1999. The group disbanded in 2006 but reunited in 2008 for several concerts. They released their fifth studio album, Coming Home, in 2009.
