BioToumastine is a Tuareg band formed by a group of young friends from different regions and tribes in the Sahara. They came together in Niamey, Niger during a time of famine and unrest, united by their love of their cultural heritage and passion for music.
They began by creating instruments from unconventional materials and released their first album "Tahnafet" in 2018.
They draw inspiration from traditional Tuareg and global artists, incorporating modern rock style chord progressions in their music.
