BioWatershed is a notable pop-rock band formed in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1998. Their breakthrough came in 2002 when a German radio DJ discovered their hit single "Indigo Girl" and played it on air in Germany, propelling them to international recognition. In 2019, they earned a SAMA nomination for 'Best Adult Contemporary Album.' Watershed has released records, especially across Europe, and is considered the country's premier pop-rock band. They are currently signed under the EMI Record Label and have members including Craig Hinds, the lead vocalist, pianist, and acoustic guitarist; Gideon Botes, the guitarist; Paul Mclver, the vocalist and guitarist; Howard Combrink, the drummer; and Quintin Askes, the bassist.
