BioWest African Rhythm Brothers was the most popular African band in London in the late '40s and ‘50s. Since the band was led by Ambrose Campbell, it was sometimes called Ambrose Adekoya Campbell's West African Rhythm Brothers. One of the band's hit release was “Egbe Mi" (title translated as "my peers,” “my club,” or “my group)." The band members include Ade Bashorun, Afolabi Thomas, Harry Beckett, Brewster Hughes, S. Dosanjos, Latifu Pedro, and Ambrose Adekoya Campbell, who was the bandleader.
