BioThe Western Toppers Band, a prominent Highlife ensemble from Nigeria, came into existence in 1954, founded by the renowned highlife musician Adeolu Akinsanya, also known as Baba Eto. Under the leadership of Kendy Adex, it flourished as a full-fledged highlife band. The band gained recognition for their satirical compositions, often centered around themes related to the female gender, and they frequently shared the stage with Adeolu Akinsanya.
