BioPhillip Trimnell and Ben Murray Bruce founded the band Xtasy in the middle of 1982. Xtasy made an impression on the Nigerian music industry by combining two outstanding musicians, Ben Murray Bruce's younger brothers Roy Bruce and Stella Bruce. They were noted for their distinct blend of pop, funk, and highlife genres, which resulted in an identifiable sound that captivated fans in Nigeria and abroad. "Eje Ka Jo," their famous song, became an anthem of the time and is still considered a masterpiece in Nigerian music history.
