Nigerian Afrogospel artist A Mose, born Adole Moses, is the true definition of raw talent and spiritual conviction. Born in the vibrant streets of Makurdi, Benue State, he began his journey as a hip-hop and Afropop artist under the name MGP. Today, though still recognized for his rap prowess, A Mose now uses his gift to fuse faith and uplifting lyrics, carrying the message of salvation through sound.

He made his official debut in 2014, driven by more than dreams of being a star. His breakout project, Redemption (2015), was a reflection of his new-found purpose—preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and art. Since then, he’s dropped several thought-provoking and spiritually charged projects including Road to Purpose (2022), Living Legend (2019), Kullez Kid in Africa (2020), Love & Service (2020), The Purpose (2023), Hallelujah Tape (2023) and many more.

His consistency and message of hope have earned him his place on multiple editorial playlists across different streaming platforms.

Going back to one of his latest body of work, released on July 14, 2023, The Purpose is a 14-track showcase of genre-bending done right. From Afrobeats to Afropop, sprinkled with sharp rap verses and even elements of Nigerian drill, A Mose went all in with this particular project.

The album features a brilliant lineup of fellow Afro-gospel voices, including Greatman Takit, Baron Jay, LC Beatz, Rehmahz, and Echow Clay—all artists who share the same vision: to reflect the human experience and provoke God-centered introspection through powerful music.
