Famed Nigerian record producer turned artist, Adebajo Oluwamifemi Adebanjo—professionally known as Niphkeys—releases a stunning and star-studded debut with his 8-track EP, Intergalactic Dreams.

In the announcement video, Niphkeys took a moment to reflect on his humble beginnings and the progress he’s made over the years. The video was an invitation, somewhat a cosmic call to fans and listeners to join him on a new sonic journey into the universe of Intergalactic Dreams.

The first track, Shooting Stars, features UK-based Nigerian singer Not3s. He rides effortlessly on a futuristic Afrobeats sound, speaking about their rise—from humble beginnings to stardom—forging on amidst the doubts that once surrounded them. The track is an anthem for dreamers who dared to become shooting stars.

Track two, Close To Me, brings together BNXN and Zinoleesky for what can only be described as magic. It begins with a stripped-down tease that tricks listeners into thinking they’re in for something soft and mellow—before exploding into a sophisticated beat with trumpets, chords, and immersive percussion that sends chills through your body.

BNXN glides in with his signature melodic flow, reinforcing why he’s regarded as Nigeria’s top feature artist. Zinoleesky follows up with a smooth, stunning verse that complements BNXN’s energy and Niphkeys’ electric production.

The third track, Imagine, features Headies Next Rated nominee Ayo Maff and is arguably the most talked-about song on the project. Ayo Maff brings his absolute best, delivering an Afro-Adura classic and a verse so good it could make an old-school Afrobeats purist rise from the grave to vibe to the song.

The fourth track, Alright, features rising star Hadurah alongside the late Mohbad, whose absence is deeply felt in the industry. The track has become a fan favorite and currently ranks third most streamed on the EP, with over 1.5 million streams. It's a beautiful tribute and a reminder of Mohbad’s immense talent.

The second half of the EP kicks off with an Amapiano-influenced banger, Wish, featuring emerging prodigy Tiphe and Marlian signee Emo Grae. Both artists deliver unmatched synergy, matching each other’s energy and creating an exciting track.

In the sixth track Pemiloruko, Niphkeys takes it back home to the mid-2010s. Featuring YAGI Records boss Lil Kesh and Rasaki Records' L.A.X, the song is a smooth blend of past and present, combining energetic flows with slick production that pays homage to the golden era of street-pop.

Then comes Conse —a classic Nigerian concentration game “Concentrate.” It’s a raw, gritty jam featuring Abuja heavyweights Odumodublvck and Smada (of Native Records), as well as Anti-World Gangsters signee Fatboy E. With over 3 million streams, it’s the second most streamed track on the EP and a certified jam.

Finally, the project wraps with Lottery, featuring two of Nigeria’s brightest young talents—Magixx and Morravey. It’s a fitting close to the project, with both artists gliding over a classic Afrobeats instrumental with incredible vocals and melodic brilliance that perfectly complements Niphkeys’ impressive production.

We’ve seen producers step into the spotlight this year with Krizbeatz’s Daddy Daycare album setting the pace early on in the year. Now Niphkeys has delivered a no-skip body of work about to shake up the Nigerian music charts for a while.
