Nigerian singer-songwriter Johnny Drille releases a joint EP with Mavin Record’s honcho and producer Don Jazzy, titled, Hard Guy Confessions. The seven-track collaborative masterpiece has fans raving and left in awe, as the duo delivers a sublime blend of masculine vulnerability and passion.

When these two join forces, it's pure magic and nothing short of extraordinary – something we have witnessed with hits like How Are You My Friend, Believe Me, and Spending, which headlines this project with its soulful rhythm and emotional lyrics.

The EP opens with the emotional It Hurts, a heart-wrenching track that rides on a nostalgic Afrobeats bop of the 2000s. The instrumentals and harmonies are so reminiscent of that era, and it feels like a hug to the soul.

Next up is Anyway, a delightful offering that continues riding on the Afrobeats sound, sprinkled with jingle bells that is sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

Johnny Drille and Don Jazzy’s music chemistry is unmistakable; their combined artistry effortlessly creates an elevated sound that feels refined on each track and is distinctly theirs. This EP also marks the return of Johnny’s Rooms Live Session, now a celebrated annual tradition entering its sixth year. Johnny’s Room Live 6 will be held in four major Nigerian cities; Lagos, Abuja, Benin and Port Harcourt.
