Fast-rising Ghanaian hip-hop star June Jozy has released his much-anticipated seven-track EP, Mogya Ne Nsuo.

Born Frank Eshun, Jozy debuted in 2021 with his first tape, From the Streets to The City. In 2023, he followed it up with Obra (meaning: Life) gained significant traction and caught the attention of key figures in the industry.

Released on April 25, 2025, this hip-hop prodigy features one artist and presents a gripping body of work that shows why he’s becoming one of the most exciting names in Ghana’s buzzing hip-hop scene.

Translated to “Blood and Water,” Mogya Ne Nsuo is soulful and emotionally charged. It reflects Jozy’s journey through hardship, resilience, and unwavering hope. The seven tracks explore survival, the quest for success, and the relentless pursuit of better days.

Layered on raw, gritty hip-hop and trap beats, Jozy offers an introspective exploration into the affairs of the working young man. He doesn’t sugarcoat his struggles, and he doesn’t hide behind heavy production. He lets his sharp lyricism and heartfelt delivery lead the way throughout. There’s a weight to his words, and you can feel every struggle, every dream, and every piece of hustle bleeding through the sound.
