Award-winning South African rapper Nasty C with Nigerian producer Lekaa Beats has released a new studio project, an EP titled "Confuse the Enemy (Reloaded)."

When two music powerhouses meet, the result is sure to be magical, and this project is no exception. Their collaboration is a brilliant blend of genres, cultures, and styles.

This reloaded version of the original EP adds four new tracks to the initial five, featuring an impressive lineup of added collaborators, including Tiwa Savage, Blxckie, and Nanette. The project is a delightful celebration of African music’s growth, blending rap, amapiano, trap, and Afrobeats. These and the new features add a layer of depth and creativity.

Nasty C has been one of the top African rappers since Bad Hair in 2016. He solidified his global status with projects like Strings and Bling (2018), Zulu Man with Some Power (2020), and I Love It Here (2023), proving his talent and versatility.

His sharp, standard English lyrics, with occasional nods to his Zulu roots, take center stage. This attribute has made him a relatable voice for audiences worldwide. Leeka Beats complements this with a masterfully curated production that bridges cultural and musical divides.

The first version of the album released in October, featuring UK rapper Chip, Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck, amapiano star and vocalist Daliwonga, and Yumbs, was met with widespread acclaim. The reloaded version pushes the boundary further, bringing an entirely new energy while maintaining the project’s vibe.

What sets Confused the Enemy (Reloaded) apart is Lekaa Beats' ability to blend different styles and genres, and Nasty C’s ability to bring his A-game, and not get swallowed amidst the incredible production and the talent of collaborators. From the amapiano-infused Trouble and One Time to the catchy Pies and Assignment, the artists deliver a stellar performance all around.

Additionally, the album’s commercial success also demonstrates its quality, reaching number 50 on the Nigerian Apple Music chart and 52 on the South African chart and garnering over two million plays across streaming platforms.
