"Ethio Jazz Vol. 1" is an exotic display of Mulatu's Astatke's mastery of Ethiopian-jazz music. Most of the tracks on this album were used as soundtracks for the classic movie Broken Flowers a 2005 movie produced by Jon Kilik and Stacey Smith.
