Hijas del Sol was an afropop music duo from the island of Bioko in Equatorial Guinea. The duo was formed by  Piruchi Apo Botupá and her niece Paloma Loribo Apo. After finding success in Equatorial Guinea, the duo moved to Spain  where they released six albums and played a major role in pushing Bube traditions and culture.
