BioEschatos Bride Choir began in 1971 as a modest trio led by Dr. Abbey Kibalama, with a mission to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music. Inspired by the concept of “eschatology,” the choir views itself as an end-time ministry dedicated to drawing souls to God in preparation for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Under Dr. Kibalama’s leadership and the patronage of the late Rabbi Ezekiel Mulondo, the choir evolved into a force in Uganda’s gospel scene. Known for blending traditional Ugandan rhythms with gospel themes, Eschatos Bride Choir has produced over 100 albums, many composed by Dr. Kibalama under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Now comprising about 25 members, the group focuses on audio recordings after weekly rehearsals and continues to emphasize music’s role in evangelism. Their discography includes songs in English and several local languages, and they’ve published a hymnbook while mentoring other gospel choirs.
