BioOriginating from Thies, Senegal, Waflash is a long-standing band known for its diverse musical styles and thought-provoking lyrics. Formed during the educational crisis of 1988, the band got inspiration from artists like Toure Kunda, Zalam, and Manu Dibango. Their discography includes the notable "Bella Casa" album and a collaborative EP named "Mappando," along with several cassettes and albums. Beyond singing on themes of the environment and children's rights, they were also instrumental in establishing a cultural center in 2009 called the Palais des Arts.
