BioaKING, a well-known melodic rock band composed entirely of men from South Africa, was founded by Hunter Kennedy, Jaco Snakehead Venter, Laudo Liebenberg, and Hennie van Halen.
The band's debut album, "Dutch Courage", was released in 2008, followed by "Against All Odd"s in 2009.
aKING has had the privilege of performing at major festivals such as Oppikoppi Music Festival and Coke Zero Fest, where they have shared the stage with renowned international acts.
Their music has earned them significant recognition and has been featured on several prominent South African radio stations. aKING has also collaborated with other bands throughout their career.
In 2010, Hunter Kennedy was replaced by Andrew Davenport on guitar, and the band released their third studio album, The Red Blooded Years, in 2011.
