Furthermore, an additional consideration is the lack of effective promotion and marketing. It is no news that talent is not enough. Good promotion and character marketing are essential in maintaining an artist’s relevance in the industry. Poor management, inadequate promotion, and marketing campaigns can contribute to an artist’s decline in popularity.

Another significant factor is the lack of originality among new entrants in the industry. Many emerging talents in the music industry tend to imitate the sound of already successful artists. While this act may bring traction initially, it's often unsustainable and usually results in losing their original identity. When emerging artists can’t maintain the borrowed style or fail to grow, they quickly lose the following and the interest of their audience, leading to a decline.
