Witty lyricist Falz (or Falz the Bahd Guy) has just delivered a delight of a project, his six-track EP, “Before the Feast" that serves as an appetizer for what is coming, an album, "The Feast."

Released on June 7, 2024, the EP is an amuse-bouche that offers a glimpse of the artist's creativity and sets the tone for what we can expect in the forthcoming main course. The project offers distinct flavors for each of the well-crafted tracks on the EP, blending different genres like Afrobeat, Afrobeats, rap, drill, Amapiano, and highlife across the six tracks.

The EP opens with the smooth track “How Many” featuring Crayon. Falz showcases his lyrical talent and Crayon his vocal range, effortlessly crafting a beauty with incredible collaborative energy, setting the mood for the rest of the project.

The upbeat track “Popping Tonight,” featuring Shaybo and Phyno, brings a change of pace and a rap-party vibe. The incredible and playful delivery by Falz and the featured artists will definitely get this track spinning at clubs and parties in no time.

“Chop Life” brings nostalgic ‘Fela Kuti Afrobeat vibes’ with the guitar and saxophone melodies. The solo track by Falz is an ode to living life to the fullest. The solo and flirty “Shake Kaka,” with its catchy chorus and smooth chords, is set to be a youth favorite. Falz showcases his witty and playful side, delivering lyrics with a touch of humor and his signature style.

The last track on the project, “Ndi Ike," a pre-released collaboration with Flavour and Odumodublvck that has garnered over 5 million plays on Spotify, serves a blend of Igbo highlife influences with a more modern twist. With Flavour on the chorus with his Igbo flair and Industry-Machine Odumodublvck and Falz with their singing-rap style, the song has gone on to be a party favorite across the globe.
